Since YP limits reviews to 1,000 characters, I can't really share my story. I posted the full story on K&N's Facebook page.

Long-story-short, Bobby from K&N completely destroyed my backyard, and didn't deliver what he promised.

I highly recommend you read my story on K&N's Facebook page prior to hiring Bobby from K&N Landscaping.

I am not here to tell you that you should not use Bobby from K&N Landscaping, I am simply sharing my personal experience with you all. You decide for yourself. Good luck to you should you decide to use K&N Landscaping.

Terrible.

First, be warned, their Facebook reviews are fake.

Second, Bobby said he will sue me if I left him a review, so just be warned, if you deal with this guy, and he destroys your property as he did mine, and you want to share your experience with the public, you may or may not get taken to court.

Bobby from K&N Landscaping left a flyer in my mailbox in early March. Normally I would disregard this type of solicitation, but I figured let me give it a shot, maybe he's an old school guy with no modern-day website. He stopped by for an estimate, gave me this song and dance about being a farmer, talked-the-talk, and I went for it. What a HUGE mistake. As a homeowner, one of the biggest mistakes I have made.

Bobby was to roto-till my yard, and grade with 80-yards of topsoil. He wanted $2,400.00 cash, and offered me a 5% discount because I agreed to pay cash. No idea if this price was fair or not, but he seemed like a nice enough guy, so I went for it.

At the end of the 2015 season, I hired a masonry contractor, which did my patio, walkway, pool area, fire-pit and more. Throughout that process, there was a lot of excess concrete around the property.

When Bobby was roto-tilling with his equipment from the nineteen-thirties, he failed to break up all of that concrete, and instead decided to lay 80-yards of topsoil on top of it and hide it from me.

Fast-forward about two days, we had some rain and my walkway started to flood. He said it was a low spot and blamed my masonry contractors. Claimed it would never happen again, once the grass took. I guess it made sense, so I let it slide, all while watching my $70K hardscape investment get destroyed.

Fast-forward about a week, Bobby came by to clean up the front yard, which was another mistake; charged me $400.00 to make a bigger mess, but went to check out the yard and noticed that a few areas were completely saturated. Blamed the irrigation company and claimed I had a leak. I took his word for it and went back and forth with the irrigation company for nearly two weeks, as the problem only worsened. Meanwhile, I truly believe Bobby knew exactly what was going on, but was trying to point a finger. Like an idiot, I argued with the irrigation company for two weeks, insisting I had a leak, because I took Bobby's word for it.

I decided to start digging up a few spots where I noticed the water pooling, and when I did, I hit the concrete that was below the 80-yards of topsoil I paid $17.50 per yard for per Bobby's recommendation. There you have it, this is the reason why my yard is a complete pile of mush.

I called Bobby, and he said it's not his responsibility to clean that concrete up, when it was part of his job. This would be similar to a contractor building a house on top of a broken foundation, it simply wouldn't happen. A legitimate landscaper would have either told me to hire someone to clean it up before they put 80-yards of topsoil down, or at least mentioned that he wasn't going to do it; instead of trying to hide it. He told me that his roto-tiller would have broken up that concrete, which is nonsense because the guy's equipment is so old, plus he drives around with earmuffs the entire time and he never looks backwards, so he has no idea what he is actually roto-tilling.

In addition to having to hire another landscaper to scrape this all up, I have to purchase another 40-yards of topsoil, more seed, fertilizer, have my fence taken down again, have part of my irrigation system re-done, and have my entire walkway full of pavers re-done because they are completely porous and now stained with the mud that has been sitting on top of them for a few weeks.

I also have to waste time and take Bobby to small claims court in order to hopefully recoup some of my investment.

I am not here to t...
