This guy is one of the best! by Sabrina M - 07/08/2009Been in business a long time and he really does know his stuff. You can tell from the first time you meet them they know what they are talking about. Not the cheapest, but I would argue one of the best!
Well Worth The Wait by Happy Customer - 05/14/2009It seems like the great landscapers are hard to get because they are so busy helping other people (however, that is a good sign. If I am going to spend a lot of money on my yard I want someone good that knows what they are doing so I don't have to pay someone later to fix all their mistakes). Well worth the wait for Jim Puffer Landscape to do our yard. We get so many wonderful comments on it. Referring to the bad review made in 2007, I don't think the secretary works there any more as I did not have the same experience with the office staff. Employees come and go but a good, reputable landscaper who can stay in business for over 25 years like Jim Puffer Landscape has, says a lot about a business!
Worse than disappointing by numberone - 11/02/2007The only person you can talk to when you call Puffer is a secretary who is completely unhelpful and rude when you ask questions she can+t answer or ask to speak to someone who can. They agreed to do our yard and gave us a date a couple months out. We got a loan as the date approached. We got a call from J Puffer+s secretary a few days after they should have been here, saying they were a bit behind and would be a week. I said "OK, is there anything else you need from me before you get started?". +No+ was the response. So there we were a week later with a loan collecting interest. I call again with questions that the secretary can't answer and they will get back to me. I+ve called a few times over the last 2 months (since they agreed to begin). I+ve never received a response, apology, or even +we+re not showing up+. Because wasted our time with this co. we will have to wait until next spring to put our yard in and we had to pay interest on a loan while waiting. Horrible customer service.
