Jeffrey Wilms Training & Management, Inc. is Owned and operated by Nationally recognized trainers Amy and Jeffrey Wilms. Located in the heart of picturesque Scottsdale, Arizona; only 5 minutes from the world renowned Scottsdale West World show grounds.

Our facilities offer full service Training, Showing & Sales as well as complete Youth & Adult Amateur programs in REINING, WESTERN PLEASURE, WORKING COW, TRAIL & CUTTING with Jeffrey Wilms.. Or HUNTER PLEASURE, EQUITATION, DRESSAGE & SHOWMANSHIP with AMY WILMS. These programs are tailor made to meet the individual horse and riders needs, so that they may both reap the greatest benefit. Always available is an outstanding selection of high quality competitive horses available for purchase.

We supply 24 HOUR care with a 24 HOUR STAFF.

THE WORK PLACE consists of a 200' X 300' arena, two 60' bullpens as well as a completely furnished TRAIL arena and a 100' X 150' COW arena.

THE EQUINE HOUSING consists of the main barn with 50 stalls and an additional 5 stall quarantine barn. The barns include automatic water, fly system and fire sprinkler systems throughout. Horses are fed 3 times a day stalls, cleaned 2 times a day and all manure is shipped off the property.

THE EQUINE RECREATION is provided by 5 grass pastures, 150' X 150' each for horses to relax in.

Between Amy and myself we have 45 years of knowledge, education and experience. When you entrust us with your horse you can rest assured that your friend is left in competent, capable, caring hand

Our own {Amy & Jeffrey} education is a never ending quest, keeping ourselves advanced and humane in our training technique is a top priority.

Our foundation begins with administering a thorough understanding of ground work through long lining and bit lunging as well as familiarizing the horse completely with all the necessary tack. After achieving confidence in these areas we begin with saddle work. Developing an athlete that is willing to work and readily accepts discipline is among the first goals of achievement. It is the above mentioned technique that provides us with great success in taking horses from the uneducated stage to a masters degree in their field. THIS TRANSLATES TO MULTIPLE WINS FOR THEIR OWNERS AS WELL AS A SEGNIFICANT APPRECIATION IN MARKET VALUE


In addition to our equine training program we feel that it is equally as important to be able to communicate effectively with our amateur riders. This is why Amy and Jeffrey continue their education in communication annually so that they may better communicate with their students as well as their employees. Open communication and a clear understanding are of the utmost importance in the class room (arena) or in the work place.

Jeffrey and Amy Wilms feel that consistency, patience and a full understanding of the equine mind are essential for a well rounded training program.
