I have been going to Jan Michaels Salon for at least 7 months, Franny is my hairstylist.. She is very talented and every time I have a new style. Franny has helped me change my haircuts and colors several times... I am a person that change is difficult, but when I see Franny am so looking forward to something new. Her work is exceptional, very talented! And so very important she really cares about her clients. I have some disabilities and she never rushes me. She washes my hair and take such great care of me... I recommend her highly not just as a hairstylists but a person who really goes that extra mile to make sure her clients are very happy and comfortable. We all leave with a beautiful new hair do and a very big smile!!! Thank you so much Franny for everything you do!

I've been to this shop three times now and I love it. There may be a bit of a wait, but I'm always offered coffee and cookies. I wait at the doctor's and in line at the grocery so I don't mind. Lots of magazines there. And have you ever seen the people walking out of there? Its definitely worth the wait! My haircut and style was $42 and I love it. Today I brought my boy friend in for a shaping, best haircut he's had in the three years I've known him. His cut was $20. He loves it. The ladies at the counter are very pleasant and the shampoo lady is like a friend, she's so easy to talk to and very accommodating. This is a full service salon, haven't used all of their services yet. Its like going into a fancy resort, and it located in reasonably priced Worth, Il.

I scheduled a appointment, when I arrived a lady asked me who I was there to see so I told her. She asked me to take a seat. After a 1 hour wait from my appointment time, I got up to ask what the hold up was and no one would interrupt their personal conversation to ask me what they could help me with. At that point I got the feeling that no matter what happened, I would regret getting my hair cut here. So I left - up and left. The most disappointing part about the whole thing is that I am a very understanding person. All they had to do is say, "sorry the person before is taking longer that we expected. We appreciate your patience we will be with you as soon as possible and would you like a glass of water while you wait?" To me that sounds reasonable, but instead I was ignored completely. I don't know about you but when you are paying $65 for a haircut/style and $80 for color - you expect a little more service than the cut itself - like a glass of water and some communication.



I am sure they do a good job on hair and I know that matters, but MANNERS and CUSTOMER SERVICE matter too!
