Dr. Guinn uses state-of-the-art methods to ensure accurate diagnosis, including 3D Cat Scan imaging. He is very conservative, and will not recommend more treatment than is essential to provide lasting relief from your symptoms.

Over 600 physicians and dentists from 4 states regularly refer patients to Dr. Guinn. He has lectured throughout the U.S. and Canada on these problems. He is board certified by the American Board of Orofacial Pain. He is on an international scientific investigation committee regarding these problems. He is a member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the American Dental Association, and the American Headache Society. He is also a consultant to several insurance companies regarding these problems.

Dr. Guinn works with a team of highly trained clinicians, including physical therapists, neurologists, ENT physicians, oral surgeons, orthodontists, and other specialists, to insure an optimum outcome.

One of the things that distinguishes Dr. Guinn is that, unlike others treating these problems, he performs no dental treatment himself. He only treats jaw problems exclusively. He rarely recommends extensive crown work or orthodontic treatment for management of these problems.
