The JFH Academy in Prospect Heights, Illinois is a Nationally Accredited institution that provides the highest standard of care and educational opportunities for children in preschool through the primary grades.

We have three convenient locations in the Chicago area, which allows for small classroom sizes. This allows our certified teachers the opportunity to create unique programs tailored to each child, thereby maximizing their productivity and learning experience. We’ve consistently ranked in the top percentile on Standard Achievement Tests.

We also provide individualized and gifted programming with multi-level reading and math programs—children can proceed at their own pace. We have everything you’re looking for.

Our other amenities include:

• Holiday and vacation programs
• Summer day camp (15 mos. through 12 years)
• Extended school hour—up to 12
• IDHS accepted
• Safe environment with advanced security

Our teacher to student ratio never exceeds 1 to 20, and we usually operate with one teacher per 12 children. Every staff member and teacher is required to have first aid and CPR training.

Our academic programs are complete, as we offer music, art appreciation, and physical education along with our conventional classes. For more than 60 years, we’ve taught in accordance with our tradition of instilling fun into a commitment of lifelong learning.

We’re members of the National Childcare Association, the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation, NECPA, the National Association Education of Young Children, the PSO-Illinois Child Care Association, the Chicago Metropolitan Association for the Education of Young Children, and the State of Illinois Board of Education.
