The vocational syllabus is the continuation of classical ballet with the introduction of Pointe work. At Island Youth Ballet, we believe that classical dance lessons train understanding, achievement, and the pursuit of excellence. Our ballet classes take part in a nurturing and positive environment that shapes experience through effort and discipline.

The dance syllabus consists of three categories:

• Classical ballet
• Free movement
• Character

As a part of the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.), Island Youth Ballet offers dance training that is grounded, safe, and has an accredited and reliable curriculum. We also perform the Nutcracker every year.
