We board our two German Shepherds here regularly and have used their grooming services on occasion. Our babies literally get excited when we pull in the parking lot. They love all of the girls here and I know they are well taken care of when I leave them. I highly recommend!

Ironton boarding and grooming are great. The staff are very friendly and all I have ever heard from others is that they are the best in the area and fill up fast. They have always gotten Max in even times when I waited a little too long to call. They really love on the pets and make them feel welcomed. I would recommend them to anyone in need of boarding or grooming in the Lincolnton area.

I Would NEVER, EVER recommend either.

Carrie for not listening to my request and instructing Jessica to "fully shave" my long haired shepherd and Jessica for doing it. And it was a pitiful, careless buzz (down to the skin) in many areas. My shepherd had matts in rear flank area and underneath on stomach. Otherwise he needed his undercoat brushed out. Carrie was told to "trim" to get matting out. She stated as last resort would she shave and only on stomach and not down to the skin.

Carrie assisted Jessica in the beginning, NEVER telling Jessica what I wanted. They went straight into shaving him. This is a per Jessica. Outrageous!

Anyone who is considering either of them is well to find other groomers.

I asked to speak with manager and Kelly the receptionist stated "she quit". She referred all complaints to Dr Levine.

His response to this situation was & I quote

"I own the building and only rent to them. What do you want me to do?"



I originally contacted the Ironton animal hospital to get a referral for a dog grooming, I was referred to them.

I was looking to build a relationship with a vet & grooming & boarding facility.

This is not it.

The boarding facility is clean and very spacious. Everyone that works there strive to make it the best place to be when the pets can't stay home. I love that all the day care and boarder pets are given one to one attention and not left in their kennels all day long by themselves.
