BEWARE

Besides the fact that the managment & maintenance at this Apartment complex is completely deficient, we have lived in a building with 4 units for 7 months now. They continually refuse to fix things such as the sliding glass door. The freezer door fell off on my roomates foot & he got hurt, this prompted them to replace it after we had called in complaints about this since we moved in. In our building there are 2 apartments that are empty. We asked the manager if we could use one of the outside storage closets until someone moved in. Recently the maintenance people came & took everything out of the closets including our bikes. I threatened to call the police and they brought the bikes back but nothing else. The lights were stolen off of the bikes! But they said "we don't know anything about that". Should I be happy that they are thieves and brought the bikes back? I do not think so & will not be letting this rest so easily!

Unfortunately, when you go to that page, it only shows "positive" reviews. You have to click for the negative ones. An for whatever reason, it isn't showing the post I copied to the site. I did notice they changed rent again. There are ppl paying more and ppl paying less. Regardless of "like new" (don't fall for the new & steam cleaned b.s.) carpet. They don't fix anything regardless and I never bothered to attempt to use either of the two pools on the property. Yes, management changed and now nobody ever there. (Hard to rent places out and afford repairs.) Some of the bldgs are privately owned and in worse condition. Oh yes, the noise from Wet Republic can be heard in the back of the complex. But don't play your own music on a small radio after 9pm w/out security coming up with his hand on his gun. The beer bottles sitting everywhere on the sidewalks, etc. makes for feeling like you're walking along the strip. Sad thing is, most tenants could care less and management doesn't care how many people move into a unit. I never did get copies of the so called "work orders" for maintenance, because they were never done, so I couldn't do anything with the court system. An none of this has to do with them accepting people with housing assistance. In fact, housing assistance program should stop allowing them to make money and taking advantage of the government funds that help people needing proper shelter.

Scum Lord Warning, Mold, Bugs, Electrical, Hazardous stairs, Where is Management or Maintenance,

Maintenance does not fix things. Years go by as staircases continue to rot. Baseboards rot on bottom floor. The "new" carpet is just a different color w/some of the spots cut out. They throw it down w/out cleaning under. One bldg had a leak and the laid it out to dry & put it back in. Mold issues. Bug problem and takes weeks for them to spray w/whatever doesn't work w/out spraying rest of bldg. If something breaks, they jerry rig it. 3bedrooms w/master bath shower do not have shower walls, and they put carpet around tub to hide mold. Security harasses tenants. Manager goes in around 10am, maybe there for 1 1/2 hrs to turn on voice mail (which aren't returned), then back in around 3:30 for about 15 minutes to turn it off. Maintenance always has excuses and ways around everything. There aren't any 1 bedroom. 2bedroom1bath, 2bedroom w/a 3/4 bath that has a shower and the master just has a tub or tub/shower w/out shower wall (maintenance says to wipe down after use or wrap plastic around pieces of wood to seal it off) (washer, they pulled the part out so it spins), 3 bed 2 bath is same as described w/2bed 2bath. They aren't full baths and cannot be advertised as such. Owners some corp in California. Could care less, same as management & maintenance (that owns a couple of the bldgs). Electrical outlets don't work or are very loose. Windows so thin the blinds melt. They do not pay you back or take it out of the rent, as promised for anything you fix yourself. An don't ever expect your deposit back. Built in the 60s and I'm sure countless code violations that would shut the complex down. Rent is whatever they make up so some ppl pay more than others.

disappointing

i guess i wont be moving my mom in this building u guys are nasty you have a lot of complaints so sad you want rent but you dont take care of your tenants will be looking else were so sad

DO NOT RENT HERE!!

The office staff is incompetent, maintenance is as well. There is no contact info available for the corporate office (according to Tracy, who by the way leaves daily before closing time at least 2 hrs ahead of time). My air conditioner has been broken for almost a month in over 100 degree heat and I have gotten no results besides a shady handyman acting as if he's fixed the problem over 5 times now. I am forced to move because of this. However, after reading the other reviews here this is likely the best decision anyway. I am sure this place doesn;t realize that we've given them tens of thousands of dollars and would have remained long term tenants had we just had our air fixed. :(

WE USE TO LIVE HERE B4 N 2002,MOVED AWAY THEN HAD 2 FIND AN APT. SINCE WE RENTED HERE B4 WE KNEW WE WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM GETTING BACK IN. WELL, SINCE WE HAVE BEEN BACK THIS PLACE HAS GOTTEN WORST AND WORST, ROACH INFESTED , ROOF LEAKS WHEN IT RAINS, HASNT BEEN FIXED FOR 6 MONTHS. AND WHEN IT DID RAIN CARPETS GOT WET,, BUT DID THEY OFFER 2 SHAMPOO THE CARPET?? HELL NO!! I HAD TO PUT CARPET ON MY KITCHEN FLOOR BECAUSE THEY ARE TO CHEAP TO CHANGE THE TILE( STAINED). THE STOVE IS LOPSIDED,, SO MY FOOD IS CROOKED WHEN IT COMES OUT THE OVEN( CORNBREAD,CAKES). THERE IS ONLY 2 POOLS AND DIRTY AS S###T. THEY CLAIM THEY CLEAN THEM BUT MY GRANDDAUGHTER GOT SICK IN THERE. THE ECONOMY IS VERY BAD, NO JOBS AND MONEY IS TIGHT BUT DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD REDUCE THE RENT LIKE MOST APARTMENTS ARE DOING?? WE LIVE RIGHT NEXT TO A HALFWAY HOUSE WHERE ME AND NEIGHBORS CAUGHT THEM SMOKING "CRACK" IN THE LITTLE CUBBY HOLES IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSES. THATS A DAMN SHAME!!! Do not rent from them

Its to bad, the apartments are very nice.. The managment is worthless and even more wortheless is the maintenance crew. A crew of 5 and they do nothing. No wonder businesses are closing. No one is watching the store! The manager is a wortheless person who sits around on her cell phone and smoking all day. She looks like a heart attach about to happen. They make excuses for their worthless maintenance crew. 4 of the crew lives on the property so its obvious the company wanted to save money and get cheap labor. They offer the manager and crew free or low rent and a low salary. They are completely worthless. They should fire all in the office.. IMMEDIATELY.. If something breaks down it will never get fixed.I had to call the building inspector to finally get anything fixed.

Good

I was in Vegas with some friends for 4 months and needed a good temporary place for all of us to stay. It was a good thing we found this one... They made a short lease for us without a problem. We got a big 2 bed/2 bath and it was very nice indeed. All of my friends were telling me this was a dangerous place, that its a guetto area, so I was a little worried, but actually I had no problem at all. The neighbors were ok, except the one with pets.. the pets go pooping all around and theirs owners dont have the decency to clean it up.. So we did have some inconveniences like finding some cat poop on our door.. very unpleasant! The maintenance i would say its ok.. We had problems with our oven and they brought us a new one promptly.. But the only thing they never got us was a door for the bathroom. The master bedroom is a suite and theres no door separating it from the bathroom. Since we needed some privacy (roomates), they promissed us a door. The guy went twice to take the measurements, o
