Immanuel Lutheran School has been in operation for more than 125 years. It enrolls students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school conducts classes in language arts, mathematics, science, art, music, Spanish, social and technology studies, and religious and physical education. It also organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, such as field trips, band instruction sessions, Halloween parties, Christmas celebrations, musical concerts, fine arts festivals and choir performances. In addition, Immanuel Lutheran School promotes participation in various athletic events, including volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, and track and field. The school has a parent-teacher league that hosts various fundraising and fellowship activities. It is located in Crystal Lake, Ill., and is associated with Immanuel Lutheran Church, which also maintains a preschool.
