We have three children, and they attend Illinois Montessori Children s House and IMCH Babyland next door. IMCH cares for kids 3 and over, and IMCH Babyland cares for infants to 3 years old. The teachers and caregivers are wonderful, and our children are learning a lot. We are very happy with the progress our children are making in their growth and development. This is not a traditional Montessori school. Instead, the school uses the best of Montessori philosophies to teach children while still providing traditional education including reading, writing, etc. They even provide a very successful kindergarten education program. Their kids read at a third grade level when they enter first grade. We recommend IMCH wholeheartedly for the wonderful, affordable daycare and education they provide!

MY SON WAS ATTENDING THIS DAYCARE FROM BIRTH, AND ITS BEEN A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER SINCE. FOR STARTERS, THE INFANT ROOM WAS NOT THE CLEANIEST, IN FACT IT ALWAYS SMELLED OF FECES AND URINE DIAPERS. MY SON KEPT A COLD ALMOST EVERY MONTH WHILE ATTENDING. AND WORSE OF ALL, THEY CHANGE TEACHERS ALMOST EVERY MONTH, HOW CAN AN INFANT EVER DEVELOP A SENSE OF SECURITY WITH A DIFFERENT TEACHER EVERY TIME YOU LOOK AROUND. I CAN'T SPEAK ON THE BIG KIDS CENTER OF THE SCHOOL BUT THE IMCH BABYLAND DAYCARE IS NOT GOOD IF U WANT YOUR INFANT TO FEEL SAFE!!!!
