These folks put up my cedar fence in 2011. We had to have them back out four times to fix the split boards they used in the fence and to make the gates square. This should have been an indication as to the workmanship.



In 2014 it came down in a wind storm. It turns out the posts used were not set square and the nails used to hold in the panels were the wrong type and too short. Also, since they used a nail gun, they put all the nails in straight instead of at an angle. One big wind and poof, there went the fence.



Idaho Fence says I should have said something at the time. I could not see the fence posts after the fence went up or the inferior nails or workmanship. So, I'll fix the fence. But if you are considering using them, watch them carefully and inspect their work. Fences are expensive. You want to be sure you get what you are paying for.

Idaho fence uses ranch rail for their vinyl privacy fence. This company cuts one side out of a ranch rail to fit over the boards. This makes the rails move on the boards when the fence is installed. Idaho Fence does this to save money on the material and make more money off of you and at the same time give you a lower quality product. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY..

I was quoted way too much for a short 50 ft chainlink fence. over $1200. Needless to say I did not hire them.

Hmmmmmm where do I begin with this two bit joke of a company. Okay, how about at the beginning. So I call around to get quotes from close to a dozen different companies in the area for a standard chain link fence to be installed at my residence. Idaho Fence comes in with the 2nd highest bid. I advise him that I will be going with another contractor. Within days he calls me back and tells me they can go several hundred dollars lower than their original quote, which was still several hundred dollars higher than the cheapest quote I received. I tell him thanks but no thanks. A couple days later he calls me back again and tells me they will match the lowest bid I had received (hindsight being 20/20....desperation is NEVER a good sign). I decide to go ahead and give them a shot, seeing as how they are being so persistent and all. Honestly, why did they come in with such a high quote in the first place if they could could do it for so much less. It's almost as though he knew he w
