It had been years since I had eaten at hungry Howies because my first and last experience was that one time until today. I happen to have received a flyer in the mail so my husband and I decided to give them another chance. I called my local location and placed an order for delivery. I ordered a family deal which was 2 med 2 topping pizzas with cheesey parm bread sticks and a 2 liter drink for 17.99. We added some cinnamon sticks. The gentleman that answered the phone spoke very clearly and repeated my order back to me, he was extremely professional even when I called him back to tell him which soda I wanted. Our order was delivered in under the 45 minute time limit given and everything was piping hot. The quality of the pizza was delicious. This time around the crust was very doughy with a slight crisp just like I like it and so were the cinnamon sticks. The sticks were very odd shaped but made from the same type of dough. The crust is a non salty crust but you can get it flavored as well. If you are trying to go gluten free or you are intolerant I would advise getting regular or deep dish here but I was very pleased with the quality of the pizza, the delivery time and the professionalism of the gentleman that took my phone order. I would recommend the Santa Barbara location to my friends
