Not recommeded by Dalai Mama - 08/01/2009The intake session with the director was done in an appropriate manner. But, I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting caring, efficient, reliable, sympathetic service after the initial meeting. Numerous phone calls were needed to get the obituary published locally. It was extremely badly written with key omissions: Cremation wasn't done when scheduled and until after urgent phone calls. NO phone calls were returned in over a week's time to the family. We were assured that the director would be there when we received our mother's remains. He was not. Services were prepaid and family was reminded more than once of the "great deal" our mother had gotten. My family has always used Hughes because if was a wonderful place with wonderful caring people in attendance. Not anymore and I will not use it again.
