Lack of Caring About Patients

I recently had some dental work performed. After several days of missed work due to a lot of pain and concern that I may have developed an infection, I telephoned the after-hours emergency telephone number. I left a short message, along with my telephone number. It is almost one week later and am STILL awaiting a call. This is the first dentist I have ever had who WILL NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS!!!!The front-desk receptionist is almost always short and snippy when speaking to me (either in person or telephonically.)Unfortunately, because of lack of financial ability (even after using insurance), my family has forgone dental care. I have asked this dental office at least two or more times within the last several years, for a recommendation for another dentist who is willing to work with me and my family finanially for dental care. As of this date (08/21/2009), NO HELP!!!The dental care from the dentists is not my problem -- the office SUPPORT STAFF IS!! (Oh yeah, thank goodness
