I’ve used Horners twice now and nothing but honesty and honest work. I’d call him to work on my appliances again without a second thought.

This jerk does not even rate one star. Very unprofessional and used profanity. He replaced my dad's ice maker and charged $235.40 instead of adjusting the water flow. Tried to say there is no adjustment, maybe he is that stupid! When the new ice maker was not working, he came back and wanted to replace another part. I said no and he got mad. He said I can hire someone else and he would give a refund. I told him good idea. He wanted to take the new ice maker that was not working and send a check, but I wanted the money before giving him the new ice maker. I'm sure he could have written a check then if he was really going to give my dad a refund. I adjust the water flow on my dad's old ice maker and it is working perfectly.

Horner's Appliance Service has been keeping my 15+ year old appliances running perfectly for years. He's reliable, prompt, and fair in his pricing. I'm so grateful for his expertise, that has saved me from having to invest in new appliances. Often parts aren't available when newer machines break, if they're foreign made. I've recommended Horner's Appliance Service numerous times, and both family and friends have been please with the service they received.

He just repaired my washer, same day service came at the time promised, called ahead so I wasn't waiting on him at all. Replaced a pump quickly quietly in no time flat at a very reasonable price.Finding "old timers" that really know their profesion at a nice price is difficult enough without crazy reviews trying to mislead others. I did not get a freebie, but then I can get him to come back when I need repairs, well worth paying him for. Silly woman.The first reviewer gave him a backhanded recommendation, you made him nuts with phone calls while he was elbow deep in a machine so he gives you a freebie and you complain???????????? And what happenned to paying him at time of service as is normal for this type of work. Try telling a car repair guy to give you your car fixed and not pay him then and there.She is obviously not a professional property manager. I hope Horner gets what deserves, a loyal (sane or on their meds) customer base that had his phone ringing 5 or 6 times the hour he was here, and it took the hour because of the business calls, the actual repair was fast.Whatever their personl issues I can assure anyone reading this he is a quiet guy that does superb profesional work and at price that ignores Obama inflation..try that at the gas pump.

My tenant in Mount Dora called Horner to diagnosis a non working refrigerator. My good natured tenants said the repair/diagnostitian was rude to them, hardly spoke and was gruff. Someone from this business telephoned me the next day to let me know the amount of the house call. I returned his call asking for the amount and address to send the check. We had a bad cell phone connection and I could not understand what he was telling me. When I asked him to repeat the information SO I COULD PAY HIM - he lost it and yelled at me to not bother to pay him and never, ever call him again, If you are the owner of this business and read this shame on you for employing someone who is so ill tempered and rude to your customers. If you are the rude man who was brusk with my tenants and then with me - you will get what you deserve.
