Just tried to make an appointment as a new patient. I was very polite and courteous, as is my nature. Receptionist was seeing problems with what I was asking for and was not at all helpful or polite.

I had a toothache over the Christmas holiday and no dentist or specialist in Sioux city Iowa would help me with my pain. I was in pain...So I called Horizon dental center in Omaha Nebraska and I got in right away to their urgent care. Which Sioux city does not have and got the pain taken care of. Now because of complications I wasn't able to get the root canal that I needed fixed. But they did take care of the pain and they were very professional in give me advice on specialists who could help me and the costs and they answer all my questions. In my opinion they are awesome group of people who do a great job in their urgent care service!Thank You and Great job!

When I first started services, I found the staff and the dentist to be caring and friendly. This changed, however, when the two associates left the practice. Their other website (horizondentalcenter.com) has not been updated for several years. It should be noted that this clinic is NOT open on Saturdays from May-August. This office uses state-of-the-art technology. Patients are reminded of appointments by e-mail AND text message. They have TV's in every station. X-rays are digital. They use a tool called a Diagnodent, which detects cavities using a laser light. Follow-up appointments are difficult to get. On average, I waited two months for an appointment for fillings. The only way to get an appointment sooner is for a root canal or crown procedure. Emergency care was NOT seen promptly as they promise in their ad. My boyfriend had a broken tooth and every other emergency dental care that I called was too expensive. I called Horizon and they got him in the same day, VERY AFFORDABLE!! Highly recommended!
