Unsupervised and Negligent resulting in injuries from other dogs' bites.

My dog doesn't have separation anxiety any more since I found this place. The owner texts me pics of my baby having a great time while I am on vacation, which I really appreciate. Now when I take him there, he can't wait to jump into Kristy's arms and start HIS vacation! The new pond is a testament to the owner's absolute dedication to the dogs! The price is absolutely reasonable and I like that my dog isn't caged.

I had a bad experience here. Drop off my white shih-tzu and could not believe the amount of dogs she was keeping. the owner could not believe how white and clean my dog was. Also the filth of the house. Dogs were on the kitchen table, piles of clothes everywhere. Needless to say I left him overnight because I did not have a choice. I had a neighbor pick him up the next morning and find another place for my baby while I was away. I would not recommend this place at all!!

My dogs absolutely LOVE their little vacations here while I am away. They literally have full run of the house and a large, well maintained fenced in yard. I have rec'd text or email updates any time there has been anything going on with the dogs that I should know about while I am away. I have used several times and would recommend to ANYONE! Your dogs will truly enjoy their time while you are So much better than any alternatives. =)

In my defense........ Regarding the negative rapport we received below...... To be fair......the 1 year old ~not neutered~ pup was a good dog, never did I indicate that he was a 'bad dog' that I could not handle, the indication was that being not fixed, he was humping everything in this house from other dogs (that eventually had to hide from him) to even humping the couch. The other fact was that ~not being neutered~, he was marking his territory EVERYWHERE........I could not go on like this for a week........ I asked him when I saw that the dog arrived with "packages" if he had a back-up, because I admitted it was my fault that I did not see in the email that he had indeed indicated that the dog was not neutered.....and right away, the response was "Yes".....So without hesitation and to keep other dogs safe, I asked the owner to please call his back-up......"Disappointed", I did receive....but was not sure if that disappointment was in ME or the BREEDER who insists on NOT getting A

I had a really bad experience here. So, to be fair, here are the potential "negatives" about my pup up front: He's a 1 year old lab-still a puppy, 80lbs, and not yet neutered (at the breeders suggestion). He's otherwise a very good dog and not the least bit aggressive.Well, She couldn't handle him for 5 hours let alone the 7 days I planned to leave him. We got called WHILE WE WERE DRIVING TO OHIO ON VACATION to make other arrangements.I had a bad feeling when I dropped off because the owner came to meet me completely filthy, I never saw anything resembling adequate kennel facilities and they have a short fence. Basically just someones back yard. Against my better instincts I stuck with it because were were leaving in an hour and I had nothing else arranged. Bad Idea. The infuriating part is that everything listed in my first paragraph was made clear to them several days before the drop-off.Save yourself the trouble. Go to a real boarding facility!

Our lab 'Rani' loved her stay so much, she has been back multiple times. She is always clean, happy and tired from playing with the other dogs when we pick her up. I never worry about her when she is at 'Home Away from Home.' We would highly recommend this for any dog that does not like cages or is a pampered pet. Joanie and Kristy Ford are obvious dog lovers and look forward to seeing Rani each visit.

It is the best place to take your dog. Uno just loved it and he looked so happy!! It is run by people who genuinely care about dogs.

I took my lab there while I went on vacation, "Pongo" loved it there, loved to play in the pond and the big yard. I would reccomend this to anyone who does not want their dog to just sit in a cage the whole time-while your on vacation, so is your dog.
