Dr Holden recently performed my blepharoplasty surgeries, upper and lower, under light sedation in his OR in his office. He gained my trust by being honest about what I truely needed. Other surgeons I consulted with had such inflated egos and pushed procedures I didn't want! I guess when you are as talented as he, you don't have to overcompensate. I was very comfortable during my procedures, even the numbing didn't hurt! I actually enjoyed the whole event. (2 hours) Swelling and bruising was non existent after the second day. At one week, I looked great, back to normal but with smooth and "open" eyes. No more holding up my eyebrow to put on shadow! There is no scar line ( after 3weeks) I look refreshed, younger, less droopy. But not "tight" or pulled, if you know what I mean. I see so many scars,( thin AND wide ) in Scottsdale from mediocre plastic surgery. I'm glad I'm not in that category. Dr Holden is the only surgeon who I will let touch my face, one small procedure at a time.

I am a new patient of Dr. Holdens just completed a successful septoplasty. He was very calm, patiently explained eveyrthing in advance. The other otolarynologists in town were hard to get in, hard to get questions answered, they made me feel like they are too busy to take any time to answer my concerns. Dr. Holden does not make you feel this way, its rare to have such a kind caring soul as a docter and I am forever grateful for his help and the amazing job he did. His office is very nice, he has the latest techonolgies and his staff has been nothing but professional. I was nervous for my surgery and everyone in the OR was fastastic too! I highly recommend this Docter and if you go there you will see why like I did!

Always had big ears. As expected, I suffered through the Jr High and High school taunts and perpetually kept long hair to hide them. I was petrified at the bad ear pinning jobs I had seen in person and online-uneven, toed-out at the bottom but tight up top, or just uneven. I met with Dr Holden and felt comfortable with him, like he was a real guy not just a salesman. He explained what he would do, including making the total size smaller. I felt this was the doctor for me and my unattainably high expectations. Right after surgery-(which was NOT under general anesthesia, thank goodness!) I could already see they were better than I had hoped for. The recovery was not bad at all and now they look like everyone else's normal sized and positioned ears! It is funny that they are so unremarkable to other people now but I still can't stop admiring them! The whole surgery and after was easy and pain free and my ears look natural and even! Excellent doctor!!

I had a lower facelift and necklift by Dr. Holden in 2010; also a blepharoplasty (upper and lower lids) Both exceeded my expectations - the facelift even got rid of the wrinkles around my lower eyelids!Something I didn't expect. Its very natural-looking - not "worked-on" look - he does a terrific face lift. He is a very careful and caring surgeon. I interviewed carefully and met with surgeons from San Diego to Scottsdale, but chose Dr. Holden. A great result without the risk.

I've consulted with many well known cosmetic surgeons and have had several cosmetic procedures done in the past, but no dr. that I've ever known can compare to Dr. Holden-he's truly one of a kind! He has the most aesthetic eye for facial beauty that caters to each individual patient. He's very, very intelligent, a well rounded intellectual. He is in medicine, cosmetic surgery, research, a pilot. He has excellent bed side manners. He truly cares for his patients like they're his family. I recently flew from San Francisco, California to Scottsdale JUST to have him as my surgeon for a facelift and forehead lift. He is one of the few honest surgeons out there who will tell you the truth and NOT try to sell you surgery that you truly do not need. He's very selective about what surgery he chooses to recommend. My face and neck look 20 years younger and I love the results!

My college bound daughter finally got her graduation present. A beautiful nose and the self confidence she wanted. Say what you want, a dad wants his daughter to be happy. I made it my job to find her the best surgeon for her nose and I did. I did my home work, probably more than the next guy. Online, over the phone, consultations. I was definately the fearful parent. I ve seen too many cheap, bad nose jobs on my friends` kids.Dr. Holden was the only surgeon we saw that I felt comfortable with. He was amiable but I could tell he was a meticulous surgeon with the details and maneuvers he discussed that I had not heard from other doctors. That was more important to me. We were both very confident when we left the office that he was `the one`. I checked up on him, his credentials, past patients. His reputation is impeccable for a reason. The guy is gifted. The surgery went so smoothly, the recovery was amazing. At her week check she was overjoyed as was I. Dr. Holden is the best!

I've been a contractor in Arizona for 25 years. That's alot of sun damage and aged skin. I tossed the idea of a facelift/necklift around in my head for a few years. I even got a few quotes from different guys. Not too impressed with the presentation or the overall feel. I happened on Dr Holden from a neighbor who had seen him. Dr. Holden is very knowledgeable and professional. My results are amazing, at least 15 years off this sun-damaged broad. His caring bedside manner before, during and after my surgery was appreciated. I had been putting off the inevitable for a long time. It was my grandson that made me take the jump and look for a plastic surgeon to fix my tired, droopy jowls and my puffy eyes. I started the process and was nervous after visiting several plastic surgeons, just didn't get the feeling I was much more than a number. Dr. Holden was great! He sat with me and answered every questiosn I had. He even showed me the results he anticipated for me on the computer. Wow! That lit the fire under my rear!The day of surgery I was so nervous. He met with me before and used his same calming voice to reassure me. I could see the magnificent difference in my eyes and jawline right away but the best was the instant chin I regained. No more turkey gobble!! I just love that I look the same age that I feel. I notice the scars on the face and ears of people around me.
