Thank you for visiting the Hoefer Law Firm PLLC. We are conveniently located in Downtown Iowa City Iowa and serve the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids Corridor and surrounding areas. Initial consultations are free. Se habla espanol.
We practice primarily in the areas of Social Security Disability, Workers' Compensation and Veterans' Law:
• Social Security Disability: We represent clients who wish to appeal a denial of social security disability benefits. We will work with your doctors to help obtain medical evidence to assist with your claim. We represent claimants at all levels of the appeal process, including representation at hearings and, if warranted, appeals in the federal court.
• Workers' Compensation: We work with employees who have suffered injuries while working. We work to make sure that your rights as an employee are protected, and that you receive coverage for medical benefits and lost income as required under state law.
• Veterans' Law: We represent veterans in their appeals of VA decisions at regional offices (ROs), the Board of Veterans’ Appeals, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
