With the rain that will not stop and causing major flooding, Hodges Plumbing came out within 3 hrs of calling them today. Very very nice receptionists, who was concerned about my sewer problem. The gentlemen that came out were kind, attentive and nice! They explained the problems to me, fixed sewer immediately and went to the next service call. What a friendly plumbing company. Do not be quick to judge, give them a try!!!

They've come to my house three times to fix the same issue. There receptionist is always rude and they've ignored my calls more times than I can count! For almost week we called every other day and the mean lady who answered the phone gave me times that they will be there to do the work...they never showed up. We've had to leave our house multiple occasions to shower and use other toilets because of their horrible service and handy work. The only reason we use them is because my landlord prefers to keep one company at a time. I do NOT suggest this company to anyone. They've said they would call before arrival and would either not call or not show up at all. Now my sink and tub are messed up and they haven't arrived for two days to fix it. Worst service ever.

This place is horrible! There is something shady going on here. I had three guys (2 different visits, too long a story for this) come out to look at my sink and all three agreed on what was wrong. Somehow, when the diagnosis was given to my home warranty company, the diagnosis changed, both times to something never even discussed and not even close to what the real problem is. I'm almost a month into not having a working sink because my warranty company won't work with a different company. I think they are together on this mess so stay away from Hodges and American Home Shield Warranty Company!!!

Don't get swindled by these guys! The 1 star I gave is only because Hodges Plumbing has hard working, polite and dedicated employees that come out and do all the dirty work. The business itself is run by rude and shady people. We had multiple high dollar jobs that we had done on our house and paid promptly after the work was done. The owner Donald Hodges would show up just to collect his money and asked me to write the checks out to him personally instead of to his business. In my opinion it is to avoid claiming that income for tax purposes for his business. We had an issue the day after we paid them to install a new clean out in our back yard, the sewage was backed up and coming out of the bathtub. For a week and a half we called every other day and the mean lady who answered the phone (owners daughter) gave me times that they will be there to do the work...they never showed up. My husband, myself, and 5 of our kids have been leaving daily to use the bathroom and take showers at my mothers house. I called today frustrated and she was beyond rude and defensive to me on the phone and I lost my cool. Was told they will be here this afternoon....but I doubt it.

I work at a non-profit children's shelter and we had Hodges Plumbing come out to root out our line due to the fact that we had standing water in our shower and bathtub (seperate entities). They charged us $150 of which I promptly paid. I was then told a few days later that the problem was still ongoing. I have tried calling Hodges Plumbing many times, and they are not answering their phones, nor or they returning my phone calls. I would definitely not recommend this plumbing company to anyone! And the only reason I am giving them 1 star is simply because they won't let me not choose a no star rating!
