We had a new furnace installed late this past spring.Hinding's bid was the lowest while also offering the highest energy-efficient furnace. They did everything they said they would: the crew was efficient and polite, they thoroughly cleaned up, we received our rebate and paperwork for the tax credit in a timely manner.We highly recommend Hinding Company!!!

Selecting a new furnace and central air conditioner is a daunting task. We met with representatives from three companies before selecting Hinding. Brian was very knowledgeable and professional as he evaluated our heating and cooling needs. Installation went very smoothly, much faster then expected, and they left the area around the furnace neat and clean. Hinding even submitted the necessary paperwork for the available rebates. We are very satisfied with their service and products. Thank you, Hinding!

Trouble getting Hinding to submit paperwork to Xcel allowing me to receive my rebate

New furnace and air conditioner installed April 20, 2011. Had not received Rebate from Xcel. Xcel stated they had not received necessary paperwork from Hinding. Julie at Hinding said she would check on this in August 2011. She never called me back. I called the following week and a male (unk name) said the paperwork was being sent. It is now Oct 28, 2011 and again Julie at Hinding gave me the same bull story about "Josh from Xcel not calling her back". I am being given the runaround and getting fed up. I checked with Xcel on Oct 28, 2011 and they had sent a check to Hinding in Aug 2011 for the $100.00 dollars they as a contractor are entitled to for installing the equipments. Funny they could get their paperwork in for their rebate but not for mine!!!

Julie, we're sorry for your inconvience in this matter. I personally dug to the bottom of the issue and here's what I came up with; your paperwork was filled out & submitted the same day of your install as we promised, the manufacturer had changed the rating "code number" for the equipment so we incorrectly sent in an old code. When something like this happens we have no idea until the utility company processes it and in-turn lets us know about the mistake/changes(slow process). There was also a little miscommunication between our "brand new" employee of late August and the utility company. As of last week we should have had everything 100% completed correctly & in the hands of the utility company once again. We apoligize for the human error on our part, we process hundreds if not thousands of these rebates every year and this just doesn't happen, please contact me if there's ANYTHING I can do for you moving forwards. - Brian Nepstad

Prompt and thorough service

We worked with Brian and were impressed with his professionalism while helping us with our job. After our a/c went out during the heat wave of 2011, we had secured a quote from the company who helped repair our furnace years back. We only contacted Hinding Company to feel like we had done our research and received other quotes....but we ended up choosing Hinding Company after all due to their extremely affordable pricing. It was FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS less than the bid from the furnace repair company. The warranties and service were far better as well.We went on to work with Hinding and were guided step by step through the process. We have recommended this company to our neighbors and will definitely utilize their service again if needed.

New Central Air Unit

We got quotes from several different companies and decided to go with Hinding to install central air in our home. Brian, the salesman, was knowledgeable and presented to info without being pushy and we liked the fact that they are a smaller local company. They were able to come out within a week which was very helpful. Our home was built in 1900 and they explained how to maximize our unit while keeping cost as low as possible. The 2 guys that did the install were fast and cleaned up after themselves. We've had no problems with our unit and are extremely happy with the service we received.

Terrific local business

Our AC went out during the extreme heat this summer. Searched for a reputable HVAC company and found many to choose from. Decided to go with Hinding based on their years of experience and excellent ratings. Was very pleased with the service and installation. They made it so easy - even filing the energy rebate forms with Excel. Liked them so much I asked them to come back a few weeks ago to fix a different issue on my 3 zone system that I asked them to look at while installing the AC. My experience with Hinding was excellent. I recommend them and will call them for all my HVAC needs

Amazing Service and Lowset Prices

We decided to get central air after having our first child. We had the furnace and duct work already but no central AC. I called several places and got 3 estimates and Hinding and Company was by far the best price. True to other reviews, their service was impeccable. They completed the job in a timely manner and finished the job for the price quote they had given me. They followed up with me several times to ensure I was happy with everything. I highly recommend this company to anyone considering new AC service. Also, I got 10 years of free service and parts on the unit they sold me. I couldn't be happier with them and will certainly use their services in the future.

The Customer Service to accommodate our needs during the extreme heat of June and summer was fantastic. Once we made the decision to go with a New Air Conditioner the quick courteous service and ability to accommodate our needs to cool home was second to none. One call to Brian explaining our situation and he set up installation in a few days. The install was quick, clean and timely. Thank You. Our Heating needs will follow soon.

Will not install equipment not sold by them.

I called this morning to see if they can install a steam humidifier that I've already bought. They do not install equipment that they do not sell. That's really their call. My disappointment is that I asked the question and the lady who took my call asked for my name, address and phone number (I refused to provide email id) before telling me this. I can only infer that they need my contact for sending me marketing material(if not sell my info).Ask if they do something for you, before you provide your contact info.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Our computer system is set up where we have to enter specific information before we can attempt to place you on the schedule (it searches by address to see if you are within our service area). The employee answering the phone is new as of yesterday, so she probably had to check with someone else in the shop to see if we could provide you the service(s) you were seeking. I will personally look through the system to find your call and REMOVE your information from our system. We would never & have never sold customer information, we use it specifically in house.
