Here we go
by Michael , 04/22/2015
So this was my first experience with Highway 64 Auto and Salvage.. To get things going, this company was the only location that had my vehicle auto part in the four corners region, but this proved to be otherwise and HUGE nuisance. This began with employee "Paul". Now "Paul" had guaranteed my grandmother a part for her Grand Am vehicle. And some things to take into account is that she has travel far to get to this location and she is also elderly. As we go, "paul" scheduled a time and date for a pick-up on the part. During this time I had to decided that I could wait around Kirtland for the part to be pulled, so my grandmother could spare a trip to Kirtland. During this time I had been patient with Paul and he advised me to wait an hour for the pick up upon purchase. When I came back to the store, Paul let's out deep snarl and in a demeaning way advises me that it's not been an hour(which it had). Clearly upset, I decided I would wait no longer because again I had things to do and I only had enough time to stay there an hour. Eventually, time passed and it turned out that "paul" couldn't even find the part for my vehicle. So this plus Paul's "customer service skills" should be a red flag for those who decide to come here. You cannot even call in without being given the run-around with someone who gives you the impression that they absolutely do not care. I'm sorry but this was an absolute nightmare for myself and I will never advise anyone to go here.

Been using this salvage yard for a couple of years with good results. Recently was disrespected by one of the counter personnel. I asked about how long it would take to remove a part. The answer was, "Not long". That kind of answer is rude and disrespectful because a person who asks that kind of question obviously is looking for an approximate amount of time. 1 hr, 2hr or whatever. That person is not longer working there, (thank God). The only person that is somewhat respectful is the anglo counter man. Don't know his name but he's been there awhile. The others act like imbecile crackheads. To the supervisor, if I were you I would have the parts counter personnel tested periodically for drugs and booze. The testing devices can be bought from the drug store relatively cheap.

Hwy 64 Auto Salvage Saved Me!!!

I was really in a bind and thought I couldn't afford to fix the body work on my car after getting quote after quote that was really out of my price range. Hwy 64 found the best deal for me and is less than 1/2 of the money I got quoted in Durango. They did an excellent job and highly reccommend visiting with Chad or any of his assistants to see how they can help.
