I was given a quote over the phone to pull ONE baby tooth for my child. Once the service was complete the bill was over $200.00 more. Plus, I had x-rays from my family dentist that were taken two days before her appointment and they would not even look at those. Instead, I was charged an additional $160.00 for x-rays that I already had. Two hour wait, rude front office staff and dentist was not very compassionate just about the $$ signs.
Reception Desk is AWFUL

The receptionist at this clinic is awful. She is very rude and seems to have no idea what she is doing. Please, avoid this clinic if you possibly can. Village Dental or Carolina Comfort are much better.

The customer service at Highland Pediatric is horrible at the desk, but the dentists and hygenist are warm and approachable. The facility is clean and warm, but something just turns me off if I see this one receptionist. She has no clue as to what she is doing and is curt and rude, she talks fast and over you so she can't hear what you are saying. They need to put someone up front who knows how to receive parents and children because she is not knowledgable at all. I asked her if she had received my children's records from their previous dentist and she told me no without looking, so I called their old dentist up right there and they told me they had send them over 2 weeks ago. My previous dentist said that she would send them again, and then the bad receptionist said I have them, so I call back to my old dentist and told her that she had them all, and then the bad receptionist said she didn't have one of my child's. Grrr, talk about rude. Get past her and then you are ok!
