This a a family owned and operated Auto Repair Shop. Started by their father both owners Rick and Pat Higgins carry on the tradition of excellence.     Higgins are very honorable .. before they towed my son's car, they tried to start it again and knowing the ins and outs got the car started so the cost was less than what a tow would have been.liked the honesty.

    I have used Higgins for several years. They have worked on my Ford Pickup and my BMW. The work has been good and the prices fair. They are much less expensive than a dealer and my experience is that the machanics are skilled and friendly.

    I was looking for a new car repair service somewhere close to where I live. I am so happy I chose this one, despite what other reveiws said. I took my Van in because it was acting like it was going to die when it came to a stop. They fixed me right up. Thank you Pat!!!!!

    $75 an hour and broke more then they fixed, buyer stay away

    Higgins was suggested as being fast and reasonably price to my mother last fall. Radiator replacement, they told her it would be $150. They waited 3 days to do it, charged her $75 an -hour- for labor and charged 3 hrs worth of labor. It took them $45 mins between telling her they were about to do it and that they had, but they charged $75 an HOUR and added an extra 2.After they failed to put -any- radiator fluid in the car they then managed to while putting the new radiator on, broke off the bottom of the dip stick. So the car instantly started leaking oil, which it never had before. But for $75 an hour they couldn't be bothered to fix their mistake. They returned her car with no oil, and no anti-freeze. I've got to say, WORST place to get your car fixed. PERIOD.



    My advice to anyone in need of a car repair...go to the dealership. My experience with Higgins was not pleasant. I took my car in for an anti freeze leak...while they were working on my car, they dropped a metal washer down into my engine..not knowing, they started my car and heard the misfire and the noise...long story short, they told me it is a "mechanics worse nghtmare" and the engine may need to be replaced. Well, they did a "patch job", that was 6 months ago...now my engine is GONE....and guess what, they turned it into their insurance company and their garage insurance doesn't cover screw ups.... needless to say I had to take my car back to them countless times because my engine light kept coming on, and my engine was making noises that were not normal...their advice to me ... "unload your car...soon" What?? Now I know why I was given that advise... I checked into a replacement engine....$5500.00...

    Don't trust your vehicle with them

    Last fall 09' they installed alternator for us. One day later I had to have it towed back for the same problem. Turns out they didnt install it correctly. So they redid it. Another day later, same problem. This time they tell me I might need a new starter, I tell them thats odd my friend just installed a new one 6 months prior?Turns out it was that they didnt tighten up the battery cable? But they tried to say I needed a new starter?Dumb me takes it back to have axles worked on. They order the wrong ones. Install them. A few weeks later I have a pool of fluid under my car. I take it back they realize the mistake. Supposedly fix it. Still not right. But they say they can fix it for another $400? They install wrong parts, but its my fault.Like I said DUMB me for taking it back after the alternator issue. Bottom line.... they don't care. lcsc2129@gmail.com

    All of the guys that work at Higgins are GREAT. We have all 3 of our vehicles serviced there and they take care of their customers! They will squeeze you in and they are great about getting you in and out. I can not say enough nice things about Rick and the staff at Higgins!
