Respectful with a sense of humor by Kerri - 10/13/2009Dropped our dog off at the kennel on a Friday. Drives me nuts that when I get back from a trip early or not at pickup hours, that I can't get my dog. Not the case at this place, got back from my trip and went straight to the kennel to pick up my pooch. Love that 24/7 pick up. Got him home and up on my lap he went, he smelled just as he did when I dropped him off. Thank you for keeping him warm and clean while I was away!
Very Satisfied Customer by Jo - 08/06/2009My dog, Sebastian, has been a long time guest at Hidden Paradise Pet Resort. He suffers from separation anxiety so cannot be left alone. The kennels are always very clean and he has never come home smelling like a kennel. I really appreciate the 24/7 pick up and drop off. Curt has made many improvements. The resort is a work in progress, yet he has continued to keep his rates reasonable. Sebbie is my child with fur. If he didn't receive good care, even with these conveniences, we wouldn't be there. Not respectful of animals' needs or owner's wishes by Josh - 07/19/2009Hidden Paradise may be affordable, but at what cost? I left my 2 beagles here recently, and am not pleased with the service I got. My dogs are territorial about their food, like most dogs, but the owner just said "dogs are dogs, they'll figure it out." My dogs normally eat twice a day from separate bowls. I was ok with them eating once a day, but the owner refused to feed them separately, even though I told him what would happen. Sure enough, after 3 days, one of my dogs had not eaten since the morning I dropped them off. When we brought him home, he was up all night searching the house for food, while the other dog had obviously eaten too much and would barely move. Is it really that much to ask to feed them in separate bowls? It's not like I was asking them to administer medication or a daily shot.

24/7 access is great by akaRosella - 10/07/2008I loved knowing we didn't have to rush back to get the dogs by 5pm. It allowed for a quick trip to a few antiques stores! The kennels are looking great, the natural skylighting is a nice addition! Our dogs didn't have that kennel smell or grungy feeling fur when we got them. Food, leashes, blankies and the stuffed moose were all waiting for us on shelves in the outside kennels when we arrived. You have great plans for the future and I know we will be using your kennel when ever we need a weekend home for the pups! Can't wait to see the changes!
