This is Ivan with Hernandez Roofing. I want to explain myself and the situation a little bit. We did a repair for $325.00 to tuck-point the chimney and a few very small areas of the building. I had explained to the customer that tuck-pointing is not recommended and that they should grind down and replace brick in the areas that needed it; area was extremely damaged and wouldn’t hold up for a very long time. He wanted the cheapest solution Tuck-pointing was not a good idea. They had explained to me this is what they wanted and if I could simply do it. As I did. I hand mix my own mixture I don’t buy premixed solutions. I also had explained to them that with the problem they are having that they might need a new chimney liner, because the problem they have been having has been on-going; but I do not work in that field and should contact a chimney liner expert. I also gave them no warranty; for the work I did because it was a patch job. I could understand if I had did it the proper way which I had explained but they did not want to. I also did the work in June of last year (2009) called me one year later; which I told him it would not last long. I never had a problem with the customer (her father), she was not being cooperative with me and wanted me to stop what I was doing and head over there. I also did the work for her father and this is the first time I had spoke with her. I prefer speaking with the building owner which is the customer for whom I conducted the work for. For he or she knows what conversations I had with them and the explanation that I have given. I always fully explain myself which I did for my customer. She was extremely sarcastic and rude; and I never gave her a confirmation I would go out. I had simply told her I needed to speak with her father; she demanded for me to go out and she set the time and date; not I. I simply did what was asked from me. I can not please everyone which this simply proves that
