Biggest Rip Off in Town by Pug luver - 11/12/2009I took my 5 year old dog into this place for a "precleaning" exam. Free. They then told me it would cost $434.77 for a cleaning. On the list they gave me for costs listed a "brief exam" for $20.00. So the free one wasn't free after all. They also said he would need four molars removed, he's 5. Among all the meds was 2 different anti-biotics, also they listed polishing/floride, I thought polishing was cleaning and since when do they treat dogs teeth with flouride? The list was quite long. Actually I thought about taking him to my dentist since he only charges half that much.This vet is obviously ripping off people they think are stupid and not even a senior discount. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. I went to a 5 star vet and got the job done for $137. he needed no teeth pulled, That is criminal to treat people like that not to mention the animal. Tropicana Veternary Hospital is the place to go. They are great and very resonable.
