Best brat in town by Reid - 06/03/2009Sure, you can get a decent brat anywhere- even in front of the hardware store. But when I need a brat fix I seek out Helga's for a couple of reasons. There's nothing like an authentic German brat whichever flavor you choose, but the real secret is the roll. I can't believe what a difference top quality bread makes for a brat. It doesn't hurt to have authentic saurkraut either. It's hard to pass up desert at Helga's too. They have an "in house" bakery chef that makes outstanding tortes. That's German for cake.
A touch of Germany in Colorado by DVT - 05/27/2009Your trip to Germany probably has a lot of memories of good food, right? Well, I found that much of that same charm is available right here in Aurora. Whether it's the meats, the noodles, the cabbage, sauerkraut or beer, it is all there. Run by real Krauts too. Check it out.Achtung!
Food at Helga's by Satisfied customer - 04/19/2009Family owned restaurant with friendly service and excellent food. You get large portions of good home cooked authenic German food. The restaurant is nicely appointed. Has a great German deli and small gift shop that is well stocked. Well worth the trip!!
