So two women traveled from out of town to peacefully attend the anti-vaccine anti-mask rally yesterday at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. We were there for a little over two hours.
When we got back to where we had parked our car in the AMSCOT lot on the corner of Himes Rd and Columbus, to our dismay we found out we had been towed which left us stranded in unfamiliar territory on the streets of Tampa at dusk.
Panicked and not knowing what to do, we sought the help of a police officer nearby who kindly directed us to Automotive Towing Services When we called, we got voicemail and had to leave a message. Finally they called us back and were very rude saying we needed to get over there now with cash only to pick up our car because they were closing soon due to the fact that it was a Sunday. The total was $188.75. We had to scramble on foot to find an ATM and get over there before they closed so we could pay the devil his due.
Is this really for real the way people treat other people? We don’t have this kind of money. Where we parked was in the far corner of the lot away from all the businesses and we did not notice a sign or else we would not have parked there. Florida-duh!!!
I will boycott Amscot and forever denigrate both Amscot and Automotive Towing Services because they could have given us a warning sticker for an illegally parked car but chose instead the treatment we got. Did I mention that I hate Tampa??? What a bunch of robots living here.

this is the absolute worst towing company ever my vehicle was towed bc I didn't have my parking decal displayed I am a resident. However I called the company to get my vehicle back and they keep giving me the run around stating I need to this person and that person. After playig phone tag the driver stated I need to call him back in 40minutes. Bc he's on a phone call. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
