The finest museum in the entire Southwest! by fan of the Heard - 07/09/2009I grew up in Arizona, and annual field trips to the Heard Museum were part of my rite of passage. I thought everyone was familiar with Navajo art and Zuni jewelry. Now that I am adult, I realize just how fortunate I am to have experienced the rich heritage of the Heard Museum. If you haven't been to the Heard Museum lately, July and August are great times to visit, since there are special programs especially designed for school-deprived kids. This place is better than ever; it has actually improved with age...truly an Arizona treasure!
