The Heard Museum, located in Downtown Phoenix as well as North Scottsdale, is one of the Phoenix area's first cultural attractions with world-class exhibits, shopping and dining.

The Heard Museum was founded in 1929 by pioneer Phoenix settlers Dwight B. and Maie Bartlett Heard. When you visit The Heard you will see how we have grown from our humble beginnings to be one of the world’s finest destinations for learning about American Indian arts and cultures.

Come see our new upgrades for the 21st century. Your visit to the Heard Museum includes 10 exhibition galleries, free guided tours, free films, a media room, Native garden, outdoor sculpture gardens, a renowned café, art gallery and trading-post style shopping and more.
