Normally, I order my food through the delivery service. On this date, I decided to visit the restaurant, in person. I sat with my lunch mate for over fifteen minutes. We asked the hostess about someone serving our table. We were told someone should be with us, shortly. Plus the hostess stated, "someone should've been to the table to take our drink order." We waited another five minutes. During this time, other servers passed our table. Matter of fact, a server checked on a table directly seated behind us. Before the server came to the table, she went toward the front. When she approached the table, she did apology for the delay. By this time, we were ready to go. According to the server, they were in the middle of a server change. Funny, the cafe closed at 2:30 PM. How can a business be in between a server change when you arrive at 2:10 PM? To top it off, the person that waited on us stated, :that it was okay we were leaving." WOW. I like their chicken salad on a salad. But, I won't order it again, even through the delivery service. Maybe, Harvest Moon isn't worried about losing business. With this economy, I hope they re-think their position. I don't want to play the race card. But, how many black people has received this treatment? Guess, I will have to have a sit-in.
