Hartel Timber Services is composed of skilled, long-term laborers who undergo rigorous training in rigging methods, safety policies, environmental and legal practices, and proper pruning techniques. We offer multiple Certified Arborists from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), the largest group of credential holders worldwide, on staff. Our Certified Arborists have all had extensive experience in the industry and have passed an exam delivered by an international panel of experts that covers every aspect of tree care and knowledge in the areas of arboriculture. In addition, we offer an ISA recognized Utility Specialist for any work that needs to be performed around electrical and utility wires.

HTS also employs two New Jersey certified tree experts. A NJ CTE must pass a rigorous exam of both assessing trees and a knowledge test of all aspects of tree care. In the future, all tree services in the state must conform to this standard. In addition, we are members of the TCIA, the voice of tree care, and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Our knowledgeable personnel also have bachelor degrees from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Contracting.
