My garbage was not picked up this week even though I had left the container in its customary spot at the end of my driveway. I called to ask for a credit for this week, but they wouldn't give me one. They said that I could put out "extras" that wouldn't fit in the container next week for no extra charge. I don't have "extras" - I barely have one bag of garbage a week, so that solution didn't work for me. What a way to run a company.

On my March/April bill there was an extra charge evidently for extra garbage placed at my garbage recepticle. I called when I received that bill and explained I was disabled and barely get my regular garbage put out after being asked if I had done some housecleaning and had extra items to throw out. I am lucky to 'regular clean' my home like vacuum, dust and do dishes let alone go on a 'spring cleaning jettison odd items' cleaning spree. I was told the charge would be removed yet on this billing for May/June.....it is still there. I will be calling yet again. If this EXTRA charge continues to show on my NEXT billing I will no longer be doing business with Hartel's. End of story.
