I totally believe in the LifeWorks module at HHRC! Very patient specific & goal-oriented! Being able to experience the success of their patients is rewarding! I enjoy working with the staff who are very friendly, caring and hardworking. The atmosphere is very welcoming, clean, and spacious! Having visited many skilled nursing facilities, I will say by far HHRC is one of the best! I give it 5 stars!

I've been to Harrisonburg Health & Rehab every time! Everyone is really good to me so that's why I go back!

My mom was released to this facility from the hospital. She was of sound mind when she got to this place. Now, just over a week later, she's crazy. She has fallen 3 times in 48 hours. Her sugar has been dangerously low so I don't know if someone's not doing their job or they are just that short-staffed. She was previously at Avante where she was receiving good care and was always in her right mind and never had a fall in the 2.5 months she was there. We are working on getting her back to Avante because this place is killing her. I don't know how HH&R can operate like this. I am disgusted!

Everyone worked really hard for me even when I wasn't the most pleasant person to deal with. I had so many fears of never being able to walk again when I came. I was afraid I would never get to go back home and now I am! I know the day will come when I need to come to some place like this and when it does, I want to come here.

I chose to come here over Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community, Sunnyside Retirement Community and Bridgewater Retirement Community because the therapy is better. The staff also provided great service.

I have gone to Harrisonburg Health & Rehab every time I have needed a SNF. The staff at HHRC are great and always take great care of me. The nurses and the aid are always attentive and answer call bells quickly. The therapist are great and will help you to recover quickly. The staff are always smiling and helping to make the stay enjoyable. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I recommend anyone go to HHRC who wants a quick recovery and to return home independently.

At all costs, avoid it. Patient care is so sub-minimal that I cannot believe this place has a license to operate. When you press the call button for an aide or a nurse you are fortunate if anyone will respond. It they do you are more fortunate if they take the time to listen to your requests. A recent tour of the facility revealed staff busily shopping online rather than rendering patient care when patients had rung their call buttons. They routinely ignore the patient's needs, confuse medications, and as far as I'm concerned it is just a dumping ground for the aged and disabled.
