While it is a bit pricey, they serve some of the best food in the area and the service is always great. Been coming here for over 25 yrs and they never disappoint!

Casual dinning. Always delicious fresh beef. Fast and courteous service every time. This is a must stop place when we drive on I5

We stopped in for lunch here around Christmas time and the inn was completely decked out with amazing holiday decor. I enjoyed their restaurant, which had authentic ranch decor. It's a meat-centric menu, obviously... the tri-tip sandwich was good.

Funny, there don't seem to be any other reviews here on YP?
Maybe, others were as disappointed as I was in the steaks flavorful, yet chewy with gristle experience (USDA Prime? really?). Service, steak cooked perfect and sides were great! Price for the steak not so great, considering the chewiness.
Same thing held true on my last visit 2 weeks ago. I was thinking that it was just an anomaly 2 years ago, everything but the meat was great. Why else does anyone go to the restaurant? The beef at the Harris Ranch restaurant seems to be on par with my local grocers meat counter (USDA Select, sometimes Choice). I noticed a lot of Dairy cattle in the area, just saying...

A bit pricey but their aged steak was so tender and juicy - melt in your mouth goodness. The staff was warm and kind and the place cozy and welcoming.

Over priced

This was the third time in 3 year. The steaks were expensive considering they are a wholesaler to reasturants. Not great flavor & not very tender the burgar was better. The service was ok again not great for the price.

They treat you like dirt.

To whom it may concern, although after the way my wife and I were treated last evening, my feeling is no one on your end will give the slightest of a damn.

My wife and I have been married for 27 years as of today. We both work and have the absolute worst scheduling situation when it comes to getting a day off together. We were both off for the weekend of our anniversary, and because of the short notice, lacked the time to plan any type of elaborate outing or getaway for our celebration. I am a pilot and we used to have a private plane, and used to fly in to eat at your restaurant. We used to talk about staying over night at your resort just to get away. We decided the other day to head over on our motorcycle to do just that for the weekend.

I called and ordered a $265.00 deluxe one night package which included a $100.00 pre-paid dinner for two at your restaurant. And the lady on the phone happily took my reservation. I explained to her we would be driving and had about a three hr. drive to get there. We then loaded up our motorcycle and hit the road. We arrived at you resort shortly after 5:00 PM and checked in, paying cash and making our dinner reservations. After getting settled into the room, we walked over to the restaurant for dinner.

As we approached the restaurant, we noticed a large wedding reception going on with live music and food and lots of people. We entered to doors to the restaurant only to be told by two young ladies that the restaurant had been shut down, and they would not tell us why. They just "giggled".

We returned to the resort and went to the front lobby. The receptionist told us the power was out and the restaurant was closed. When I asked her about where to go to eat, she told me the gas station had a Subway in it. I told her we had driven 3 hrs. to get there, and she appeared completely unconcerned about that. I demanded my money back. She initially gave me $165.00 back and took the $100.00 gift card for the dinner I could not use. I had to ask her again for the additional $100.00.

We returned to our room and gathered our things, loaded up the bike, and headed for home. I stopped and took photos of your restaurant with all the lights on and people inside, belonging to the wedding party you sold out to no doubt, and I will include the in many of the emails and reviews I plan to write today.

We stopped and grabbed some fast food along the way and discussed what had happened, and vowed never to return to your establishment again. We also talked about our favorite local restaurant that claims to use only Harris Ranch beef, and have decided we no longer wish to patronize that restaurant either, nor will we buy your products in the stores as we have done so many times in the past. I will not fly into the airstrip and patronize your meat market any longer either. That was a ritual of mine before each summer bash we hosted.

If you are going to use the excuse of a power outage, you might want to cover the windows so people can't see the wedding party living it up with all the lights on, and turn the live music equipment down. I'm not the smartest person in the world, but I believe that stuff runs on electricity.

Next time, Vegas and a show.

Sincerely,

Byron Jobe
