Harder Mechanical is a privately owned construction firm founded in 1934. We started in commercial plumbing and evolved into a mechanical contractor when asked to help build the first hydroelectric dams in the Pacific Northwest. Our experience and industry diversification grew as new industries came to the region, enticed by abundant water and surplus electrical power. We worked in industries like power generation, pulp and paper, steel, aluminum, food and beverage, petrochemical, microelectronics, and life sciences.
