good old fashioned gym with weekly rates for tourists

by itsmpm , 06/06/2012

i use hardbody fitness every time i'm in fort walton and yes, the equipment is older but still very effective and everything is kept clean and neat. it's just that some of the younger folks will have to try (or watch others using) the older stuff to figure it all out. they have more stuff crammed in there than you could ever use even in a week so selection is not an issue and the weekly rate is fine. i like the rust and wear and tear -- it puts me into the mindset to workout harder! give it a try and just go somewhere else if it's too intense for you.

Ive been a member at hardbody fitness on and off since I was 14 the Owner dave is great and creates a laid back atmosphere that welcomes anyone. I have gone to every gym between Crestview and San Destin and always end up back at hardbody. Thanks to dave and all the other gym rats that help out at hardbody. sincerely the breadman

A gym for eveybody

by fit chick 1 , 07/16/2011

I have been working out over a hardbody fitness for a while, First impression was a little intimidating because I knew this gym was for the serious athlete (or so I thought). Being a female just starting out, I was worried I would stickout like a sore thumb. I was wrong; Everyone at the gym (staff and members) were very welcoming and friendly, Turned out people of all types train at this gym, This gym has all the right equipment I needed to achive my goals, I be been a member for a long time now and wouldn't change gyms for anything. Oh and P.S. Ive never had problems with my billing.

Great gym

by love this gym , 06/30/2011

I have been working out at hardbodies for around 7 yrs now and I can say hardbodies is the best around. There is more equipment and weights than any gym around town. As for the negative comment left by someone. I have never had any issues with my billing its always on time like clockwork. The place is cleanned daily by the new cleaning guy I see everyday, first thing in the morning. Its unfortunate for the person that had a bad experience and feels the need to talk bad about the gym, but it sounds more like this person is an employee of golds trying to make this gym look bad so they get more business, thats just low and sad. This gym is great for the REAL athletes out there looking to get serious about there workout and not so concerned about being seen or looking cool.

Unless you want dirty facilities and screwed up bills don't join

by Js95SL2R , 04/08/2011

I joined this gym in July 2010 because of it's convenient location. Turns out that it's pretty much a dump. The equipment and facilities are old and falling apart. There are rarely any employees there which leads to nobody watching the place or enforcing rules. People rarely wipe down equipment which leads up unsanitary conditions. They use a 3rd party billing company that screwed up my billing twice. The first time Hardbody transposed numbers on my account and I got a nasty-gram from the billing company saying I owe back pay plus fees. The second time was when I cancelled my membership a month ago and they confinued to bill me saying they never received any cancellations. Do yourself a favor and go a block down the street to Golds Gym where the facilities, service, and people are MUCH better. If you're military Gold's Gym gives you a corporate membership where your monthly bills is actually lower than Hardbody Fitness.

Work out with out Interuption

by Preppy1 , 07/02/2010

I have always loved this place. I work 14 hrs a day and i would get off work and just bleed the rest of me out for the grand prize. This place caters to us that work for a living and care about people that care about their appearance and health. I want to say thank you to Hard Body, You have been what people that live and work their heart out here needs with their limited time. Thank you, Robert Camp
