Against my better judgement I bought a puppy from a pet store. I know the reputation that they have, but this store seemed different. The staff was very helpful and seemed genuinely concerned for the puppies. My puppy had just come back from his shots and then threw up. The staff was not going to let any one else hold him the rest of the day. They gave me the name and phone number of the breeder where he was born. He had a vet check up with a signed paper saying he was healthy and a free check up for in a few weeks. They instructed me on how to feed him, how to change the brand of food if I wanted to and how to make sure he is eating and going to the bathroom. They were very helpful and even told me to call them if I had any questions. I felt good about my puppy purchase.

I've been coming to the pet store in Har-Mar for years, and I've always enjoyed my visits. I think they recently changed owners, and I've noticed a lot of nice changes in their aquatics area.I mostly visit for the fish, but my wife and kids love to hold the puppies. The puppy's cages are kept clean and comfortable, and the pups definitely get well-socialized. I'm always seeing puppies sold, so they seem to find homes quickly, which is good to know.I've visited most of the stores in the state at one time or another, and I can say the aquatics staff there is second to none; very knowledgeable and friendly. They go out of their way to take care of me and help me enjoy the hobby. I also appreciate that they are making efforts to conserve the reefs. They buy propagated coral and now they also do their own aquaculture as well. Very impressive. They do get really busy there sometimes and that can mean waiting. I don't personally mind waiting my turn to get quality service though.
