Real barbecue ('cue to those who love it) like Hap's Real Pit BBQ delivers, is slow cooked for a looooong time, over low heat. Real 'cue is a celebration of the meat. Hap's goes one step further and adds it's own special rub to it's 'cue. Hap's Real Pit BBQ uses a special blend of spices and herbs perfected through years of experimentation. This is then rubbed-massaged, if you will-into the meat. Hap's makes sure the meat is awash in spices-this stuff doesn't just sit on the surface-it practically is bonded at the molecular level.
