Joanne, started her career in Hawaii by graduating from the Hawaiian Barber School in 1987. She worked near a military base for a couple of years, moved to a neighborhood shop in Honolulu before moving to Minnesota in 1998. In Minnesota, she worked for Great Clips from 1998-2000 before working for a private barbershop from 2000 to 2008.
