In 1933, the Haggen family embarked on a journey to change the way food retailing was being done, and to bring their guests quality products, at a value, whenever possible buying from local farmers and merchants.

Today, that tradition is carried on in corporate brand products. It began with Haggen label itself, which embodied the spirit of our crew and company. As we expanded our brand offerings we always ensured that quality, not price, was the determining factor in choosing the items that were to fill our stores shelves.
