In recent years, Mr. Gugino has served as an arbitrator and mediator, and is a Settlement Judge for the Nevada Supreme Court as well as a Short Trial Judge for the Clark County District Court.

A former President of the Clark County Bar Association, Mr. Gugino previously served as the Chairman of the Local Government Employee-Management Relations Board for the State of Nevada, which resolves public sector labor issues.
