Today at Greenbelt Kennels my dog Lizzy was attacked and bitten on both of her ears by Laska the owner of the kennelâÂÂs dog while at daycare. Under the new management this happened to my dog. Nobody was in the room supervising when my dog was attacked. I only got an IâÂÂm sorry from Jean. I had to take my dog to the vet for staples and antibiotics. Now my dog is very traumatized from this event. I wouldnâÂÂt recommend taking your dog there for daycare or boarding as this could happen to your dog as well. The owner of the kennel (Jean) wonâÂÂt pay for the vet bill after her dog attacked mine.

This is a place you can trust to treat your dog well, and to care for any special needs he or she might have. I have been using Greenbelt for years for both daycare and boarding. I started using them toward the end of the life of my Airedale Sparky. With an older dog, they made sure he received the attention he needed. My second Airedale to use them, Frodo, was a sweet and gentle Airedale who became very ill (kidney issues) toward the end of his life. Again, he was always well cared for. Now my 1 1/2 year old Airedale puppy Dylan goes there. He loves daycare, always excited to go, and happy to be there. Daycare has socialized him to interact with other dogs and provides lots of exercise. They have helped reinforce the training we have given him, learning our commands for him and using the same ones. And when we go away, we know he is in good hands. Jean, Rod and the rest of the staff are attentive and caring. If your dog is old or young or has special needs, they will provide a wonderful environment. I am very glad they are here.

Provided by YP.comThis is absolutely as good as it gets! If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. I just moved to the area and was looking for a groomer for my little yorkie mix. She was an abused and neglected stray when I found her, so she has some quirks. Most relevantly, she cannot be confined (she has actually eaten her way out of a hard plastic kennel, teeth bleeding) and she's afraid of loud noises. I called Deb and asked if she could groom little Ava without putting her in a kennel, and she said she absolutely could and that she'd do the grooming as quickly as possible so Ava could go back home. I could not have been more impressed. I showed up for my appointment, and Deb remembered that Ava didn't want to be in a kennel. Within an hour (an hour, people!), she called and said Ava was ready to come home! When I picked her up, they had set up a little play pen in the lobby for her, with a bed and a blanket, and they were playing with her. Ava was adorable -- with a handkerchief around her neck and a pretty flower in her hair! Deb was super complimentary of Ava's behavior (compared to other groomers who have said my dog did "better than I expected"). She also noted that Ava doesn't like the dryer (note the fear of loud noises), so she didn't dry her all the way. I can't tell you how rare it is to find a groomer who is so attentive to the dog's needs -- so KIND and COMPETENT and EXCEPTIONAL. If you have a dog and you care about how he or she is treated when groomed, this is absolutely, hands down, no doubt, THE place to go.
