HISTORY
Green Bit & Tool, Inc. was established in 1970 in Casper, Wyoming by Tom Green. In the beginning his garage was his warehouse and he serviced the industry by selling drilling bits to local contractors. As the company grew, he moved the business to the old Baker Oil Tools building on West Yellowstone and hired a shop and sales staff. Due to a downturn in the energy industry, the company diversified into drilling supplies and became the Rocky Mountain Master Distributor for Gardner Denver Pump Parts, Petroleum Equipment Parts and Portable Drilling Rig Parts. In addition to tricone and 1 piece drilling bits, the company became very knowledgeable in Down the Hole Hammer Tools and Hammer Bits
Green Bit & Tool, Inc. and their customers benefit from the keen insight that Tom Green developed while working for many different drilling, workover and supply companies in Wyoming and the surrounding western states. In turn, this knowledge has been passed on throughout the years to his staff. A staff with combined experience of over 100 years in drilling and mining industries has been the catalyst behind many products and services offered by Green Bit & Tool, Inc. over the past 30 years. Green Bit & Tool, Inc. offers the finest built to customer specification hole openers, customization of existing drill bits and tools, new and used drilling supply and equipment sales, and an experienced sales staff to help with any of your questions.
