Extremely Pleased with Dr. Tognacci, Staff, Location & Facility
by Marcela , 12/10/2012
We are new to the area and was dreading to find my son (age 12) a new Doctor, since we had been seeing his Doctor in Tucson for the entire 12 years. I came across Grand Canyon Family Practice and immediately was scheduled for my son to se Dr. Tognacci. He was great! He is a young, understanding person who made my son feel comfortable. He was dreading his sports exam and he provided a great sense of relief. He even took some time to encourage my son to stay active, eat healthy and continue in sports. Staff were very professional and the office is very pretty. Glad we found him, we felt right at home.

Worst Receptionist Ever
by Rude_Front_Desk , 08/07/2012
The receptionist at check in is the worst I have ever seen and I have been to many doctors in my 72 years. The whole front desk office area is so rude, cold, and indifferent, that it makes me want to find a different place to go despite the fact that Dr. Tognacci is kind, considerate, and knowledgeable.
doctor good - office staff sucks

LACK OF RESPONSE AND CARE
by D , 04/02/2012
I have been trying for over a week to get Dr. Paar to call be back about my care.I followed up with phone calls no less than 4 times with no response from the doctor. My wife finally called to speak to Dr. T. of Grand Canyon Family Medicine and was told by Maggie that under no circumstance would a doctor call her back. It is not something they do.

I'VE BEEN SEEING DR T FOR CLOSE TO 6 YEARS, I'VE VERY PLEASED WITH HIS SERVICE
VERY POOR OFFICE CUSTOMER SERVICE! (WRITTEN by AN RN)

I REALLY wanted to use the physican and PA at this office, but after several negative experiences, neither myself or my family will be going back. We have told them that in the waiting room they need a privacy screen or something - you can hear the staff talking about the clients and their personal info. It continues. Today was the last straw - I took my son in for an appointment for his possible ear infection: the front office gal did not greet me, was rude when I told her I wanted both of my sons to be seen (since I thought both of them had ear infections), and when she told me she couldn't see both of them - she was condesending and smug. When I told her we would be leaving - that I would rather just take both boys to be seen at once, she sarcastically said, "HAVE A NICE DAY!" I have worked as a Registered Nurse for a decade and in customer service for years. I will never pay money to be treated so badly!
Saved me a fortune in surgical bills
