Gave me most for trade-in
by PlumbBob , 11/10/2011
No one else would give me over $5,000 for my used Toyota so they got my business. Sales guy was good - didn't push too hard.

I bought my truck at Gilleland - they beat everyone else's price and threw in a bed liner on top of that. I'll buy my next truck their for sure.
Poor Customer Service
by JNT , 10/30/2011
We purchased a Used 2006 Impala from Gilleland Chev/Cadillac. We really liked the car and already had the check in hand from our bank or we probably wouldn't have completed our purchase. The customer service was actually good up until they thought the vehicle was a definite sale. My husband called early afternoon on a Wednesday to let them know we would be by at 7pm to sign papers, drop off the check, & pick up the car. Cory(our salesman)told him he would have the car washed and detailed. Upon our arrival, we noticed the car was filthy, which was strange as it wasn't the last time we saw it, and it had been taken "off the lot". We brought up how dirty the car was and it did get a car wash. Our paper work was not ready until 8:30pm and when we received it, the total dollar amount was more than what we had agreed upon. The credit person going over the paper work with us was not happy that we were not going to pay more than we were quoted but after some arguement ok'd it. What a headache!
Certified Used Vehicle? HA!
by Alicia H , 10/05/2011
I purchased a "Certified Used" vehicle from Gilleland. 3 weeks after I purchased it, the transmission went out. I purchased the vehicle "AS IS", so I did not expect them to replace the transmission at no cost. I did, however, expect that a "Certified Used" vehicle would include an inspection of said vehicle. My mechanic found corn throughout the vehicle, including the air filter box which was full of it! How can it be a "Certified" vehicle if they don't even change the air filter? I will never buy another vehicle from them after this whole ordeal (this was just one problem) and have told everyone that I know not to buy a "Cerified Used" vehicle from them. So much for truth in advertising!
