Most people reading this will probably never need a 16mm bolt rethreaded, but I did and I couldn't find a. a replacement bolt, b. a die tool big enough to recut it myself or c. a machine shop that could do metric until I came across Gilberts. They got the job done in less than 15 minutes. The various guys I talked to at Gilberts were very friendly and gave me some good tips. They've been around for a long time and say a lot of their business comes from "garage mechanics" like myself. An invaluable resource for do it yourselfers.
