in the past i dreaded going to see Dr. friend. unlike his name he was not friendly and was uncaring of my concerns. recently Dr. Friend left the practice and it was taken over by a wonderful Doctor, Dr. Paul Motta. He is kind, empathetic, and really into caring for me as a person. He whole heartily cares for you. i have seen him 2 times and both times he hand wrote me letters thanking me for choosing him as my doctor and that he looked forward to seeing me in the future. Thank you Dr. Motta it is truly hard to find great caring doctors now days. you are a rare gem.

The receptionist did her best to squeeze us into an appointment even though they were booked because my son was having an emergency. My two year old was very happy with all the employees even though he was sick and not in the best mood. I called to get my sons results today and both receptionists I talked to specifically remembered my son from days before. Very happy with my experience.
Stay Away from Gateway Medical

I filled out their forms for half an hour. The only thing of importance I wrote down was "extreme heartburn". So, what do they prescribe for my injury? Naproxen (sodium pills). After three days, the pain from the salt pills was worse than the pain from my injury. Nurse Heriot scheduled me for a noon follow-up appointment. I arrived early for my follow-up visit the next week. But Nurse Heriot and the other Gateway employees decided taking a late lunch was more professional than keeping my noon appointment. I drove twenty minutes back to the house and called them. They said they were there at 12:05......BALONEY!! I stayed in their parking lot past 12:05 and even returned minutes later just to see if they were back. Nope. Lights out, door locked. But the receptionist kept arguing that she opened the door at 12:05. When I told her I was going to stop going there, she says. "I am sorry we could not meet YOUR expectations". An honest person would have said, "I'm sorry we were LATE."
