Garray Music Studios is located in Puyallup. We are dedicated to training the voice in correct natural singing. Our founder and lead coach has more than forty five years of experience teaching singers of all ages, many of whom have gone on to professional or amateur careers in theater, church, live performance and recording.

Garray Music Studios was established in 1994 by Jack Gorrecht,
who had been training singers for 38 years. His intent is to provide
quality instruction to anyone who has the sincere desire to succeed as a singer.

At Garray Music Studios, the belief is that we are all designed to sing. The basic quality of each individual voice depends upon many factors and some are just naturally better than others. What is most important for the vocal student is the understanding and development of the functions that create the best quality for each individual voice.

The job of the Vocal Coach is to direct and assist the singer in learning how to eliminate those actions and attitudes that stand in the way of beautiful natural singing.

The current facility has seven studios. Three vocal, one piano, one guitar, trumpet and guitar sharing one and a large room for Kindermusik, which is a wonderful music program for very young children.

Garray Music Studios holds Student Recitals during the year to give our students the opportunity to display their progress, and to help them in becoming comfortable when performing for a live audience.

We are prepared to work with singers from beginners to accomplished professionals, including those in fields from classical to country and pop styles of music.

Many of our students have successful careers in recording, musical theater and other areas of vocal music. However, some people just want to learn how to sing better in church or to sing karaoke. Whatever the reason, everyone who wants it deserves the opportunity to have quality instruction.

Vocal training is open to students of all ages. Our coaches have the experience of working with students from age 7 to 70.

The students at the studio learn the simplicity and ease of natural singing. Those who master this art of natural singing are able to perform almost any style of music they choose to sing.

In addition to Mr. Gorrecht, there are two extremely well qualified vocal coaches who have been with him since 1997.
